The Story Behind Diva Goddess

I shouldn't be here.

And I mean that literally.

There's a photo from the beginning, me as a baby with my leg wrapped in an ace bandage, before I understood any of it.

Before I was 10 years old, I had my foot cut off by a riding lawn mower, busted my head open, and been hit by cars more times than most people can count. The last car accident left me unconscious. At another point, a glass shard went straight through my hand, leaving me with six stitches. In junior high, I was even standing in the wrong place during PE when we were playing baseball and broke my nose, waking up the next day with my face swollen. Somehow, every single time, I made it through.

But surviving physically was only part of the story.

I spent my childhood moving between my grandparents' house and my aunt and uncle's house, never knowing where I'd be sleeping from one night to the next. Stability wasn't something I knew. Security wasn't something I had.

At 17, I finally went to live with my dad. For the first time, I felt like I was finding my footing, getting to know him, and building a real relationship. Six months later, he was gone.

I didn't find anything close to stable ground until I was 30 years old.

That's when I started trying to build something of my own.

I launched a cleaning business. I launched a limo business. Both failed and took everything with them, leaving me homeless. Not once, but three times throughout my life, I found myself with nothing and nowhere to go.

Five businesses came and went.

Five times I got back up.

Because giving up was never an option I was willing to accept.

Through all of it, my grandmother believed in me when I couldn't believe in myself. One day she looked at me and said, "One day you will have a successful online business."

I carried those words through every failure, every setback, and every night I didn't know where I'd sleep.

She wasn't wrong.

Diva Goddess was built from every obstacle I survived and every dream I refused to let go of.

At the end of it all, there's another photo, not the same beginning, but the same person, just further down the road.

It's more than activewear.

It's a reminder that no matter what you've been through, you're still here. You're still standing. And you're stronger than you think.

That's what we make.

That's who we make it for.
